Love at first sight: HiVE welcomes Katie Stewart to the family!
We are excited to announce the union of HiVE and the wonderful, knee-slapping funny Katie Stewart! After many long weeks, HiVE’s search for love (read: a new Director of Social Impact) is finally over. She’ll be diving right in, working with our members, partners and community to amplify the social impact sector in Vancouver, and beyond. This has truly been a match made in heaven! So, to all you other changemakers, paws off – Katie’s taken!
Learn more about Katie below, check out her linkedin, shoot her an email (katie[at]hivevancouver.com), or pop by HiVE to get to know her a little better.
Katie is a quick-thinking and highly innovative creative professional with a penchant for getting things done. She is a passionate community builder with over 15 years experience in coordinating programs and events for non-profit organizations and is really excited to be part of the amazing team at HiVE.
Prior to joining the HiVE, Katie was a strategist for a youth-focused digital agency. She brings enthusiasm, kindness and creativity to the table everyday, alongside a healthy dose of laughter and random things from her garden. She enjoys lunch-time workouts, cooking with butter and cheap night at Tinseltown.
Her current side pancake (side project) is SAD Mag, a local magazine that publishes the best of contemporary and emerging artists with a focus on inclusivity of voices and views, exceptional design, and film photography. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Simon Fraser University and shamelessly colour codes her books.
